DAY 1 : Arrival in Leh

On your arrival at Leh airport, our representative will greet you with a warm welcome and escort you to your hotel. Once you check-in and are well-rested, you can begin with your sightseeing tour.
Your first sightseeing destination in Leh will be a visit to the 3 Idiots school. Yes, it is also known as Rancho’s school. This is the school where the climax of the movie 3 Idiots was shot and since then this school is a popular tourist destination.
Your next destination is Shanti Stupa. The stupa is very famous for its beautiful white dome. It is a Buddhist monument and holds the relics of Buddha. These were consecrated by the 14th Dalai Lama. The highlight of this stupa is the Tibetan architecture, you will be awe-inspired by it.
The last destination for the day is Leh Palace. The palace is also known as ‘Lhachen Palkhar’ and is a 17th-century royal palace. Now it is a tourist attraction and also houses a museum.
Post this tiring day, you will be heading back to your hotel for dinner and a night stay.


DAY 2 : Excursion to Sham Valley

Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at your hotel in Leh. Today, you will be going for a day tour to Sham Valley. So as soon as you finish with your breakfast, you can leave for the excursion.
The first tourist attraction planned for you is the Gurudwara Pather Sahib. The Gurudwara was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Buddhists consider the gurudwara a holy place and not just them many tourists from around the world come here to seek the blessings of Nanak Ji. The holy place houses a rock that resembles Guru Nanak’s back and is considered to be a place of worship. Then come the Magnetic Hills. This is the most fun and unique destination. You must have seen vehicles going downwards on a slope but here it is the opposite. Here vehicles do not go down but move up. Yes, it is true and on your Amazing Ladakh Tour, you can witness it.
Later, you will visit the Confluences of Zanskar and Indus. This is the place where Indus and Zanskar meet. The river Indus has hues of green in the water and Zanskar is blue in colour. They meet at Nimmu Valley and to confluence is like a saga. The sight is so picturesque that no photographs can do justice to it, but your own eyes.
You will also make visits to Alchi Gompa, the oldest gompa in Leh. And a tour of the Ladakh Hall of Fame is also on your itinerary. The hall of fame was built in the memory of the brave Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for India during the Indo-Pak war.
After a tiring yet fun-filled day, you will return to your hotel for a goodnight’s sleep and some delicious dinner.


DAY 3 : Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (160.3 km. / 4 hrs. 43 minutes, Height 10,000m)

On Day 3, you will be taking a road trip from Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass. So, have an early breakfast and keep your luggage ready to leave for the trip.
Khardungla Pass is the highest motorable road. Many bikers keep passing by this pass. The pass is surrounded by snow-covered mountains, which makes it a beautiful location. You can spend some time there before you continue your trip to Nubra Valley.
Once you reach Nubra Valley, complete your check-in formalities at the hotel and then leave for your sightseeing tour.
Your first sightseeing destination is Diskit Monastery. It is also known as Diskit Gompa and is the oldest monastery in Nubra. The gompa belongs to the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The highlight of the gompa is its architecture.
The next destination is Hunder Village. It is famous for its sand dunes and Bactrian camel rides. Kids really love being in the village. Also, trekkers come here because it houses a trekking spot.
Your last sightseeing location is the Panamik Hot Springs. This spring is located at the Siachen Glacier and is known to have medicinal properties. You need a permit to visit this spring.
Once you finish with your sightseeing tour, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.


DAY 4 : Nubra to Pangong via Shayok River (140 km. / 6 hours, Height 4,250m)

Time for yet another road trip, this time to Pangong Lake via Shayok River. Well, Shayok river is actually a must-visit. It originates from the high altitudes of the Rimo Glacier and its water is so clear that you could see right through it. You will love spending some peaceful time at the lake, away from your daily mundane routine. So, after your breakfast at the hotel, you can leave for your next destination.
Once you reach your campsite in Pangong, get settled in and take some rest. You can spend your leisure time by the lake or exploring the surroundings.
End your day with some steaming hot dinner and an overnight stay at the campsite.


DAY 5 : Departure from Leh

This brings you to the end of your Amazing Ladakh vacation tour. You will be taking a road trip back to Leh after early morning breakfast. Our representative will escort you to the airport in Leh for your trip back home.
